Portfolio Boot Camp

Students, get ready for the working world. We invite you to have your portfolio and resume reviewed by over 25 local marketing, design, and communication professionals. Here, you’ll collect tips and tricks from one-on-one reviews and learn how to represent yourself in the visual communication industry.

Join us on Sunday, March 24, 2019 for the 13th annual Portfolio Bootcamp from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center, 40 S. Carroll Street, Frederick, MD.

Bootcamp is open to college-level students with a visual communications portfolio including: Graphic Design, Illustration, Photography and Website Designs yearly portfolio review is brought to you by the professionals of AIGA Blue Ridge and AAF — Greater Frederick.

There is room for walk-in registrations. These are strictly first-come first-serve. Walk-in registrations will not be guaranteed the same number of reviews as those that pre-registered.

We'll be introducing “Pitch yo’ Self”:
In between reviews you’ll have the chance record a pitch for your digital resume. Use this opportunity to create a professional video highlighting your skills and most importantly what makes you, you. We’ll give you the original video file so you can edit and send.

About our Speaker: Greg Kihlström, Lieutenant Governor, AAF District 2
